Radost means happiness.

It’s the process that counts.

First, we visit second hands and charity shops looking for materials. What we’re searching for? Well, everything that can bring joy so colors, patterns, textures. Then there’s washing, disinfecting and ironing, all so you get the best quality products. Next it’s time to cut, sometimes embroider and finally sew! Everything done by hand, supported only by our trusty Singer sewing machine :)

Becoming adults we sometimes forget how to have fun. Our mission is to remind everyone that we can be good, responsible people while wearing something else than serious office clothes. That’s why we choose vivid colors, patters and fun textures. So, add a pop of fun to your outfit!

What is important for us?

  • Reducing waste

    Do you know that 85% of clothes ends up in a landfill?*

    We do not like that thought and because of it we decided to use already existing textiles instead buying new ones.

    Reusing already existing materials and extending they lifespan also reduces CO2.

  • Saving natural resources

    Around 60% of all clothes being produced nowadays are made of plastic.** Washing them releases thousands of tones of microplastic being released into the oceans.** Making a cotton t-shirt requires 2700 liters of water.*

    Not a surprise fashion industry is responsible for a significant share of water pollution. Also, growing cotton requires a use numerous pesticides, insecticides and fertilizers.*

    We all will benefit from lowering the production in general. That’s why it’s very important for us to reuse as much as we can so we lower our impact on the environment as much as possible.

  • Uniqueness

    Upcycling in fashion often means using smaller pieces of materials, scraps or like we do it, retrieving materials from already existing clothes. The possibilities are endless and there is little chance to create many pieces looking exactly the same.

    That’s why in Radost Manufacture all pieces are unique! We are all different, so let’s reflect our unique personalities in what we are wearing.
